Stolen Vehicles, Package Thefts, Car Break-Ins: Lower Merion Crime Blotter

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Merion Police released details on recent crime incidents in the township.

These incidents occurred between Aug. 1 and Aug. 11.

Aug. 11

• Theft of Package (Bryn Mawr) - The victim reported that on July 23, a package was delivered to the mail room of a local college. When the victim went to retrieve the package, the package was no longer on location. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Aug. 10

• Theft of Package (Penn Valley) - The victim reported on August 8th a package was delivered to the mail room of their apartment complex. When the victim went to retrieve the package a day or two later, the package was missing. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Aug. 8

• Theft of Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim's Toyota was stolen from where it was parked along the street near the victim's residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Aug. 7

• Theft of Package (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that on August 4th a package was delivered to the front door of their apartment and stolen by an unknown actor. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Aug. 6

• Theft of Vehicle (Wynnewood) - The victim's Toyota was stolen from where it was parked along the street in front of the victim's residence during the overnight hours. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim reported that overnight on August 4th, their Nissan was entered and gone through while parked in the parked lot of their apartment complex. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Aug. 5

• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim's Jeep had the rear passenger side window broken out while parked in the parking lot of a local fitness center. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - The victim's Dodge Ram had the passenger side rear window broken out while parked in the parking lot of their apartment complex. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Bala Cynwyd) - While investigating the above theft, officers located a Nissan with its driver's side rear window broken out. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Aug. 4

• Theft from Vehicle (Wynnewood) - The victim's unlocked Dodge Ram was entered and gone through overnight while parked along the street in front of the victim's residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Wynnewood) - While investigating the above theft, officers discovered a Honda that was entered and gone through overnight. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
• Theft of Vehicle (Wynnewood) - The victim's Acura was stolen from the driveway of the victim's residence during the overnight hours. The investigation into the incident is continuing.

Aug. 1

• Theft from Vehicle (Merion Station) - The victim's Mercedes was stolen from the street in front of their residence during the overnight hours. The investigation into the incident is continuing.
• Theft from Vehicle (Ardmore) - The victim late reported that their Ford van was entered and gone through while parked along the street in front of their residence. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
