Take a Tour of the Best Kitchens in Ardmore

The Ardmore Library Kitchen Tour features eight beautifully renovated Main Line kitchens representing a diversity of styles.

Area foodies looking to make some improvements to their home cooking space have an opportunity for some inspiration this weekend in Ardmore.

The Ardmore Library is holding its 10th annual Kitchen Tour on Sunday, from 1 to 4 p.m. The walking tour will visit eight beautifully renovated Main Line kitchens representing a diversity of styles, all within three miles of the library.

Guests can sample food from A la Maison, The Tasting Room, DiBruno Bros., and Viking Pastries while viewing each kitchen. The designers and architects will also be available for questions and comments.

“The kitchens reflect innovative solutions to a host of spatial challenges and demonstrate the stylistic diversity to be found in current kitchen design,” the tour website says. “Whatever the style, each of the kitchens has eye-catching elements and its own individual character.”

The Tour begins at the Ardmore Free Library. Tickets are $25 per ticket in advance, or $30 on Sunday. There will also be raffle tickets for sale to win a complimentary consultation with a local architect, a dinner for four at A la Maison, or a free design class at Harcum College. Prices are $10 per ticket or $25 for 3 tickets (cash only for raffle tickets).
