- The National Weather Service forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon as temperatures reach the upper 80s.
- Lower Merion School District students start classes in one week, on Tuesday, Sept. 3, the day after Labor Day. Teachers and other staff are already at work all this week.
- In local sports, Harriton's golf team plays Ridley at Springfield Country Club at 3 p.m; Harriton girls tennis hosts Lower Moreland at 3:45 p.m; and Lower Merion golf plays Penncrest at Philadelphia Country Club at 3 p.m. Check schedules for Harriton and Lower Merion via DigitalSports.
- The Lower Merion home football game against Sun Valley scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday has been moved to Harriton's field, Main Line Media News reports.
- Expect lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the Schuylkill Expressway.
- Check the following PennDOT cameras for traffic conditions on the Schuylkill Expressway: Westbound at City Avenue, Westbound east of Belmont Avenue, Westbound west of Belmont Avenue, Westbound east of Gladwyne exit, Westbound west of Gladwyne exit, Eastbound west of Gladwyne, Eastbound at Belmont Avenue, Eastbound at City Avenue
- Bryn Mawr Film Institute will be showing Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine, starring Alec Baldwin and Cate Blanchett, at 4, 7 and 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.
