LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Nearly 4,000 PECO customers in Lower Merion Township do not have power as a major storm brings damaging winds to the Philadelphia region.
According to PECO, 3,769 customers in Lower Merion Township are without power as of 7:15 p.m.
That's about 16 percent of PECO customers in the township.

Lower Merion has the most customers without power of all Montgomery County municipalities, PECO data shows.
Overall, 10,040 PECO customers in Montgomery County do not have power.

According to the National Weather Service, the region is under a tornado watch.
The National Weather Service said the storm is bringing widespread damaging winds and said those in the region should seek shelter.
