Work on Ardmore Sign Postponed

Work on the “Ardmore” sign, during which Anderson Avenue would be closed, has been postponed, Lower Merion Township said Tuesday morning.

Anderson Avenue in Ardmore had been scheduled to be closed on both sides of the bridge from 8 p.m. Thursday, March 5, through 5 a.m. Friday, March 6.

A new date for the work has not been scheduled, the township said.

The postponement is due to the weather forecast, the township said -- snow accumulation of up to 4 inches is possible Thursday, the National Weather Service says.
