Today, the answer: According to the <a href="http://www.lowermerionhistory.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Lower Merion Historical Society</a>, it's the bottom of Ashland Avenue/Jefferson Street in Belmont Hills, when the road was under construction and the neighborhood was still called West Manayunk.
