Narberth Run, Electronics Recycling, More This Week

Five things residents of Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills, Penn Valley and Narberth should know the week of April 22-28.

1. Lower Merion School District's Board of School Directors will meet after a Communications Committee meeting on Monday, April 22. The committee meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the ardministration building's board room (301 E Montgomery Ave, Ardmore). The agenda will be posted here when available.

2. Don't forget: residents can have old electronics picked up at their home this week by Green Narberth and dropped off at Whole Foods' E-cycle event. Find out more here.

3. Friends of Sabine Park are inviting locals to the Cherry Blossom Picnic and Pot Luck on Friday, April 26.  "Bring family, friends and food to share. We will provide cups, water and lemonade. Get to know Sabine Park and help create its future," a description in the NarbNet email newsletter reads. The event starts at 5 p.m.

4. Shares are still available for West Philly CSA Neighborhood Foods, which has a dropoff location in Narberth this year. Find out more.

5. Narberth's Cycstic Fibrosis Run is scheduled for Saturday, April 27 and starts at 9 a.m. The 5-mile run's registration fee is $35, and proceeds benefit those who have been affected by cystic fibrosis.
