Traffic was shut down and fire, police and ambulance personnel were dispatched to mile 338 of the eastbound Schuylkill Expressway about 3:20 p.m. Wednesday for an accident with injuries, according to PennDOT and Montgomery County dispatch.
The extent of any injuries was not immediately known. Narberth Ambulance and Belmont Hills Fire Company were among the units responding to the scene.
A PennDOT traffic camera showed one lane of traffic began getting through about 3:40 p.m. The scene cleared about 3:50 p.m.
