Assault, Burglary Investigated in Bala Cynwyd

Lower Merion police last week responded to 242 calls throughout Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills and Penn Valley, down from , department records show.

The police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) include:

• 1 burglary attempt Monday, June 18, on the first block of East Levering Mill Road in Bala Cynwyd
• 1 death investigation Sunday on the first block of Hansen Court in Narberth
• 6 fire calls, including three on the 200 block of Conshohocken State Road: two Friday night and one early Saturday morning
• 3 car accidents with injuries, including one June 20 in Bala Cynwyd involving a bicycle
• 10 car accidents with property damage
• 1 simple assault, about noon Thursday at Levering Mill Road and Belmont Avenue
• 12 thefts, eight for $200 or more
• 1 towing dispute at City and Belmont avenues
