Bala Cynwyd Farmers Market Debuts
Vendors will be at Belmont Avenue and St. Asaph's Road every Thursday this summer.
The 2012 season of the Bala Cynwyd Farmers Market began Thursday afternoon as a dozen vendors set up shop in the GSB Building parking lot at Belmont Avenue and St. Asaph's Road.
Merchandise included produce, hummus, baked goods, candy and frozen pops, while another stand offered to sharpen knives and scissors.
Like last year, the market will be open every Thursday through the summer, but at a new time: 2:30-6:30 p.m. (Last year's market operated from 3-7 p.m. Thursdays.)
