Boosted Bicycle, Burglary, and More Police Blotter

The following incidents took place in Bala Cynwyd and Narberth.

Lower Merion Township police provided Patch the following incident reports on July 11.

Theft: A theft was reported from the Riverside Tennis Club in Bala Cynwyd on July 5 at 5:05 p.m. The victim worked out that morning and was contacted that evening by PNC Bank and was informed the victim’s PNC card had been used at a Target store in Philadelphia.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen from the Penn Valley Wawa at about 4 p.m. July 5. A customer leaned the bike against the wall of Wawa, and upon leaving the store 10 minutes later the bike was gone. The beach cruiser-style bike, which was not locked, is valued at $125, police said.

Burglary: Police said a house on the 100 block of Lodges Lane in Bala Cynwyd was burglarized between July 5 and July 10. A gift card and costume jewelry were stolen, police said, after a first-floor air conditioner had been pushed out to gain access to the home.
