Burglaries on Birch Ave., Levering Mill Road Investigated

Lower Merion police responded to 243 calls throughout Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills and Penn Valley the week ending July 29, up from , department records show.

The police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) include:

• 13 animal incidents, including five raccoon encounters and one with a fox
• 4 burglary calls in Bala Cynwyd: , two calls for break-in by force July 29 on Birch Avenue and an attempted burglary July 26 on Levering Mill Road
• 1 fire, July 26 in a vehicle on the 200 block of Garnet Lane in Bala Cynwyd
• 2 car crashes with injuries
• 8 car crashes with property damage
• 6 thefts
