Cemeteries Bring Back 'Beer Barons' Tour, Homebrew Competition
The event happens Oct. 19 at Laurel Hill in Philadelphia and West Laurel Hill in Bala Cynwyd.

Calling all beer and history buffs! Fall favorite, “Beer Barons to Homebrewers: Tour The Past. Taste The Present.” is back for another year!
This year’s event, to be held Saturday, Oct. 19, will include a tour of burial sites of brewers interred at Laurel Hill Cemetery and will continue with a tour, tasting and reception at West Laurel Hill Cemetery. During the reception, meet Don “Joe Sixpack” Russell for a Q&A session. Tickets are $25 per person. Reservations are required and space is limited. Registration begins at 1:00 PM at Laurel Hill Cemetery, 3822 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19132.
Are you a homebrewer? Enter your best fall themed homebrew in the contest. Both bottled entries and sixtel entries are welcome. Brewers submitting a mini keg or 2 cases receive free entry for themselves and a guest as well as a chance to be name “People’s Choice”. Bottled entries are $7 per entry and must be received by Thursday, Oct. 17.
