City Avenue Corner Bakery Opens

The new restaurant at City and Belmont avenues , with the first 100 customers getting a year of free coffee refills.

Doors opened at 6:30 a.m. for the lone tenant in a three-space retail building erected over the winter and spring in the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center.

The restaurant's normal hours are 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week.

Corner Bakery's nearest other location is  in Ardmore.
