Experience 'Pawsitive' Reading at Narberth Library
Kids can read with Luc, a therapy dog, at Narberth Community Library on Wednesday nights.

Did you know Narberth Community Library has a therapy dog program?
Luc, a yellow lab and certified therapy dog through Comfort Caring Canines, started visiting Narberth Library on March 6. On Wednesday nights, kids can sign up for a 10-minute slot to read a book with Luc—who, librarian Janine Waters promises, is a very good listener.
Reading with therapy dogs can help children become more comfortable with reading out loud, reading more often, or reading more difficult books.

Slots are available beginning at 7 p.m. on Wednesday nights. Families can sign up in advance at the library's front desk, or drop in to see if Luc is free.
Another pup will also become a reading buddy at the library soon, Waters said: look forward to meeting Snuggles, a Bichon mix.
