Local CSA Shares Still Available

Narberth is a drop-off location again this year for Neighborhood Foods' local produce service.

Narberth is serving as a drop-off location for Neighborhood Foods' CSA again this year, and shares are still available.

In Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), a member typically pays a farmer a lump sum at the beginning of the growing season, then receives a box of local produce weekly throughout the season.

Neighborfood Foods is a West Philadelphia urban farm, and the CSA runs from May 24 to October 25 (22 weeks).

A full produce share is $600 for 22 weeks, and a half produce share is $325 for 22 weeks. Find out what a typical week's box looks like at Neighborhood Foods' website.

"All of the income we generate goes towards keeping our gardens up, providing food to families in Haddington, and funding our community programs," the CSA describes.
