Local Results For Broad Street Run

On Sunday morning, more than 40,000 runners near and far participated in the 33rd Annual Broad Street Run in Philadelphia. According to Philly.com, Henry Rutto, 29, of Kenya, won the 10-mile run for the men's division, clocking in at 47 minutes and 6 seconds, while Esther Erb, 26, of North Carolina, won the women's division with 55 minutes and 28 seconds.

Among those who participated, 211 runners represented the Narberth-Bala Cynwyd Patch area:

• Narberth: 73 runners
• Bala Cynwyd: 102 runners
• Belmont Hills: 6 runners
• Penn Valley: 30 runners

• William Rowland, 26, of Bala Cynwyd finished 58th overall and 23rd in his division with a time of 54:48.
• Christine O'Connell, 33, of Narberth finished 145th overall and third in her division (ninth among all women) with a time of 59:03.
• Charles Muchnick of Bala Cynwyd was, at 69, the oldest area finisher, crossing in 2:08:36.
• Martha Zeller of Narberth was, at 17, the youngest area finisher, crossing in 1:25:59.
