Lower Merion Township: DUI Patrols Set For February 17- February 21, 2022

This crackdown is part of a “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” initiative.

This week the Lower Merion Township Police Department will be conducting Impaired Driving Patrols throughout the Township. This initiative is in partnership with a national impaired driving crackdown featuring intensified, highly visible enforcement activities using the tagline “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”

The focus will be on finding motorists who are operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances. Roving Patrol Details are funded by a PennDOT grant and are one of many tools used to increase public safety through increased awareness created by high profile enforcement.
