New Mausoleum Under Construction at Westminster Cemetery
The building is expected to be complete by the end of October, a cemetery manager said.
A new mausoleum with more than 400 spaces is under construction at Westminster Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd and is expected to be complete by the end of October.
Cemetery manager Peter J. Pakuris said the building will have slightly more total capacity than the existing mausoleum nearby, overlooking the Schuylkill Expressway.
Westminster is at 701 Belmont Avenue, just north of West Laurel Hill Cemetery. The two facilities are separated by the Cynwyd Heritage Trail.
