No Arrests Yet In Fatal Main Line Crash, Fight: Lower Merion Police
The investigation into the crash that hurt four pedestrians and killed a pregnant woman and her unborn child is still underway, police said.
BALA CYNWYD, PA — Four days after a crash killed a pregnant woman and her unborn child in Lower Merion Township, no arrests have been made and those involved have not been identified.
Lower Merion Police told Patch that no new information, such as arrests and the cause of the crash, is available for release.
The crash occurred at about 2:47 p.m. Saturday on West Rock Hill Road near the intersection of Bryn Mawr Avenue in Bala Cynwyd.

A 36-year-old woman and her unborn child were struck by a vehicle and died at a hospital due to their injuries, police said.
The four other pedestrians were hospitalized for their injuries. Their conditions are unknown.

Police said the vehicle that struck the five pedestrians also struck two vehicles.
After the crash, police said a physical altercation ensued, but authorities did not provide further detail on the altercation.
Police have not identified anyone involved in the crash as of Wednesday.
The Lower Merion Township Police Traffic Safety Unit is investigating the crash.
West Rock Hill Road was closed for about five hours during the incident.
