One Year Later: Where Were You for the Earthquake?

Tremors were felt around Narberth and Bala Cynwyd.

A year ago, the afternoon of Aug. 23, 2011, a 5.8-magnitude earthquake, centered in Virginia, shook the Eastern Seaboard.

Narberth and Lower Merion officials , but plenty of people felt the earthquake to some degree.

The shaking was enough to damage the Washington Monument, which remains closed for repairs.
