Police Activity: 8 Fires, 16 Crashes

Lower Merion police responded to 244 calls last week throughout Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills and Penn Valley, up from 203 the previous week, department records show.

In the past week, the police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) include:

• 1 drug-possession case
• 8 fires, including 3 appliance fires
• 1 car accident with injuries
• 15 car accidents with property damage
• 1 robbery
• 3 thefts
• 1 vehicle theft
