Police Report 0.28 BAC at Chili's

The following information has been supplied by the Lower Merion Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

On Monday afternoon, Lower Merion police reported to news media the following incidents from the past week in the Narberth-Bala Cynwyd area:

Public intoxication: Gregory Durgin, 49, of Belmont Hills was cited about 10:20 p.m. Friday after he was found asleep in his car at  and then registered a 0.28 blood alcohol content on a breath test, police said.

Public intoxication, underage drinking: A 17-year-old was cited after riding a scooter in the intersection of Conshohocken State and Hollow roads about 1 a.m. Sunday, police said. No further information was provided about the arrest because of the subject's age.

Theft of bicycle: A 24' green Huffy mountain bike disappeared from a porch on the 100 block of Llanfair Road sometime from Tuesday, May 1, to Thursday, May 3, police said. It had not been locked.

Retail theft: A man stole two cartons of Newport cigarettes—worth a combined $126—from behind the counter at the about 2:20 a.m. Monday, police said.
