Post an Announcement on Patch
It takes only a minute to share something with your fellow Patch users.
Patch users often use the Announcements section to post about births, funerals, weddings, promotions, graduations and other life events. Here’s how:
Sign in to your Patch account, if you're not already signed in. If you don't have an account yet, click "Join" at the top right of any page.
Below the banner photo on the homepage are two columns: a wide "News & Blogs" column and a narrower "Boards" column. Click inside the text box that reads "Make an announcement, speak your mind, or sell something".

Type in a Title—essentially a headline for your post. Then add whatever body text you want.
Click the "Add photos/videos" button to upload any images from your computer.

In the "Pick a Board" drop-down menu, choose "Announcements".
Click "Post Now" to finish.
Announcements are welcome anytime in the Boards. Patch users are also always welcome to announce anything in our blog section; scroll past the top news stories on the homepage and click the green "+ Start blogging" button.
