Report: Changes Coming to Narberth Post Office
Carriers may work out of the Bala Cynwyd post office, the Main Line Times reports.
The U.S. Postal Service is trying to negotiate a new lease to allow the to remain at Narberth and Windsor avenues but with carriers working off site, the Main Line Times reported.
The 12,500-square-foot lot at 144 N. Narberth Ave. is owned by a Horsham company that bought it in 2008 and is assessed at $344,660, county property records show.
According to the report, the Narberth post office's lease expires Oct. 31, and a proposed new lease would involve distribution taking place out of the instead, with retail operations still available in both buildings.
