Santa Claus To Visit Bala Cynwyd Early This Christmas Season
With the help of the Union Fire Association, Santa Claus will be making rounds in Bala Cynwyd ahead of Christmas. See details here.
BALA CYNWYD, PA — Christmas is a week away, but Santa Claus will be in Bala Cynwyd early this year.
Santa on Thursday will be riding around Bala Cynwyd with the Union Fire Association.
His trip around the neighborhoods will begin at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, when he and firefighters will hand out candy canes and take pictures throughout the night.

The fire association will be taking Santa on three routes Thursday evening. While there is no exact timing for each stop, the fire association said the beginning part of the route will run from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the middle from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and the final leg from 7:30p p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Be sure to look for flashing lights and listen for sirens as Santa nears your neighborhood.

Below are the routes planned for Thursday night:



Residents who do not live along a red line on the map should head to an intersection or street on the route so Santa can still see you.
Santa will also visit the lobbies of the following buildings at these times:
- The Yard at Penncoyd: 5:35 to 5:50 p.m.
- The Luxor: 5:55 to 6:10 p.m.
- The Cynwyd: 6:15 to 6:30 p.m.
- 335 Bala: 6:35 to 6:50 p.m.
- The Delwyn: 6:55 to 7:10 p.m.
- The Grant: 7:15 to 7:30 p.m.
- The Kelly: 7:35 to 7:50 p.m.
The Union Fire Associations will remain an active fire station serving the community throughout the evening. If an emergency call comes in, the fire association will pause the routes to respond and resume from where we left off as soon as possible.
