As Temperatures Plunge, 'Code Blue' Declared in Montgomery County
Single-digit lows and wind chills near or below zero are expected in Montgomery County this week.

Montgomery County has declared a Code Blue Cold Weather Emergency starting at 6 p.m. Monday and going through 9 a.m. Friday.
A Code Blue Cold Weather Declaration means winter conditions pose a threat of serious harm or death to people without shelter. A Code Blue is called when the combination of air temperature and wind chill is anticipated to be 20 degrees or less, according to the county.
