The Week Ahead: 5 Things to Know
A heads up for those who live or work in Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills and Penn Valley
- Elementary schools will dismiss early, at 12:35 p.m., Wednesday through Friday in Lower Merion School District, with parent-teacher conferences beginning at 1 p.m.
- LMSD spring break starts after school Friday; there will be no classes Monday, April 2, through Friday, April 6.
- Schuylkill Expressway lanes will close while crews inspect bridges this week. On Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the right eastbound lane will be closed between Conshohocken and Gladwyne. On Wednesday, again from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the right westbound lane will close over the same stretch.
- Easter egg hunts aplenty will happen Saturday. Among them: one at West Laurel Hill Cemetery at 10 a.m., at 1 p.m., and one in Belmont Hills (details to come).
- The for the Lions Club starts at 7 p.m. Saturday at Narberth borough headquarters.
