- Narberth resident Maggie Lucas helped lead her Penn State women's basketball team to a first-round NCAA Tournament win Sunday. They'll play LSU Tuesday night at 9:40 p.m. on ESPN2.
- After a win Saturday, Lower Merion High School's boys' basketball team has reached the state semifinals Wednesday. They'll play Cathedral Prep at 7 p.m. in Wingate, which is a 3 1/2-hour drive away in central Pennsylvania.
- On the subject of connecting Bala Cynwyd's trails to Manayunk's by renovating a bridge, the decision to put up $500,000 to get a matching state grant is due for a vote sometime after 7:55 p.m. Wednesday night at the Lower Merion Board of Commissioners meeting.
