Video: A Fountain in the Street in Bala Village

A water pipe at an Aqua PA construction site in Bala Village sprayed the street with what looked like several gallons a second at midday Thursday.

The water company has been along Montgomery Avenue and side streets in Bala Cynwyd all summer. A crew was working just west of the Bala Avenue intersection Thursday morning, where the impromptu geyser was going off.

Aqua PA officials could not be immediately reached by phone to comment on whether the spray was an expected byproduct of the construction. Check back later for updates.
