What Cheese Is $32.99 Per Pound at The Cheese Co.?

The next time you cringe at buying brie for $17 per pound, just know that at least you're not picking the most expensive cheese in the world.

Narberth-Bala Cynwyd Patch visited The Cheese Co. in Narberth this week to find out a little more about their most expensive cheese.

According to Cheese Co. employee Annie Dolan, their most expensive cheese at the moment is the Mimolette Vieille, which is sold for $32.99 per pound. The Mimolette is a 2-year-old cow's milk cheese. 

Mimolette is traditionally produced in France.  The cheese is typically aged anywhere from two months to two years (the Cheese Co.'s is 2 years old).
