Baldwin Borough Resident on Cellphones in Cars
Walter Olsen is the author of this letter.

Walter Olsen, of , wrote a Dec. 20 letter to the editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that condemns the use of cellphones while driving.
"Those folks holding a phone to their ear invariably have a faraway stare," Olsen writes. "A hands-free phone is no better, I'm sure, as the mind is still in distraction mode."
Olsen believes that an outright ban on cellphone use by drivers is "the smart and safe thing to do."
