Chance to Join Baldwin, Whitehall Libraries for Pittsburgh Pirates Doubleheader

Payment must be received by June 14.

Officials from the public libraries of Baldwin and Whitehall boroughs are inviting folks to join them for Library Night at PNC Park, Tuesday, July 30, when the Pittsburgh Pirates take on the St. Louis Cardinals in a single-admission doubleheader starting at 4:05 p.m.

An order form is available here. Tickets for the doubleheader must be ordered by June 14 in order to qualify for discounted prices (upper grandstand seats for $11 each and regular grandstand seats for $18 each). The $18 tickets come with a Pirates cap.

Registered children between the ages of 5 and 18 will have a chance to deliver the Pirates' lineup card to umpires or to change bases during the game.

The library with the most fans in attendance will receive a visit in August from a member of the Pirates team.

The Baldwin Library is offering round-trip bus transportation to the second game of the doubleheader at a total cost of $2 per person or $5 per family. A bus will leave from the library's parking lot (part of the Wallace Building complex) at 6 p.m. and return there after the second game. You can bring cash or check (made payable to "Baldwin Borough Public Library") with you to the bus.
