How Baldwin-Whitehall Congressmen Voted on Bill Limiting NSA's Surveillance
The legislation failed to pass in the U.S. House on Wednesday.

Baldwin-Whitehall legislators were split on a bill that would have limited the surveillance powers of the National Security Agency.
U.S. Rep. Tim Murphy (R-Upper St. Clair), who represents Whitehall Borough, was among the slight majority voting against the legislation.
U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Forest Hills), who represents Baldwin Township and Baldwin Borough, voted in favor of the bill.
The bill would have blocked the NSA from collecting vast amounts of phone records, which has been under controversy since Edward Snowden leaked secret documents describing the surveillance operations.Â
The final vote was 217 nays to 205 yays. Click here to see how other lawmakers voted on Wednesday.
