Follow the "Recycling MATters" signs near St. Winifred's on Sunday to find volunteers listening to Christmas music, enjoying snacks and sorting through thousands of plastic bags.
The group still needs plenty more bags, as it takes around 1,000 to 1,200 of them to create one sleeping mat. Jugovic hopes to finish her ambitious project with around 10 mats.
