Police, Firefighters and EMTs to Receive Free Meal at Panera This Week

On Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 11 and 12, all police, firefighters and EMTs can get a free You Pick Two meal.

Panera Bread is showing appreciation to community heroes. On Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 11 and 12, all 28 Pittsburgh-area Panera Bread cafés will honor local firefighters, police officers and emergency medical technicians. By wearing their uniforms or showing a service identification card or badge, those individuals can receive a free You Pick Two meal.

“Panera Bread likes to support the communities in which they are placed and the people in them,” said Sam Covelli, owner and operator of Covelli Enterprises, in a press release. “Our local first-responder community heroes protect and serve us every day. Panera looks forward to serving them this time.”

Covelli Enterprises is the single largest franchisee of Panera Bread.
