Whitehall Resident on Taxing the Rich, 'Overspending'
Paul Sammartino is the author of this letter.

Paul Sammartino, of , wrote a Dec. 17 letter to the editor of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (page 1, page 2) that accuses the United States of "overspending" and argues against taxing the richest Americans more.
"Our financial problems are not because our government does not have enough income. It does," Sammartino writes. "No, our problem is that our government spends way too much money."
Sammartino also defended the rich, saying, "Taxing the rich even more does little or nothing to solve our financial problems. Even millionaires go broke if they spend more than they make."
