Who to vote for?

In addition to national and state primary races, voters will also consider some county and local offices.

In most districts, voters will select committeemen and committeewomen. All but one of the races is uncontested. In the Lower Middle 3 district, John W. Mathieu and Kevin McKay are running for the committeeman position.

Voters also will be asked to vote for their party's delegates to their national conventions. Nine Democrats are vying for nine delegate positions. On the Republican side, though, 13 candidates are vying for just four positions.

The Doylestown-based Tea Party group The Kitchen Table Patriots are trying to win enough votes for their candidates - Daniel McCabe, John Merritt, Anastasia Przybylaski and Ana Puig - while the Bucks County Republican party is backing Bensalem Mayor Joe DiGirolamo, Bucks County Commissioner Robert Loughery, party leader Pat Poprik, and state Rep. Bernie O'Neill.

Where to vote?

has 27 voting districts. Those districts have specific polling places for residents to cast their ballots.

They are generally located in schools, firehouses and other public or civic buildings.

The polls opened at 7 a.m. and remain open until 8 p.m.  

In addition, if you are a first time voter or are voting at a polling place for the first time, make sure you bring identification with you.
