Back To School Nights Continue In Bensalem

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Back-to-School nights continue over the next two weeks at township schools.

Parents and teachers are encouraged to participate in “Back to School Nights” scheduled by each school in the Bensalem Township School District.

The special evenings are designed for parents to get first-hand knowledge of their children’s daily schedules. Staff members and administrators discuss the academic program with parents, explain teacher expectations along with student responsibilities, and present an update of school policies and procedures.

Parent and teacher participation in these evenings facilitates communication and strengthens student support systems.

All Back-to-School Nights begin at 6:30 p.m.

Here is the school schedule:

• Thursday, Sept. 11: Valley
• Monday, Sept. 15: Struble
• Tuesday, Sept. 16: Rush
• Thursday, Sept. 18: Snyder
• Thursday, Sept. 25: Shafer

In other school district business:

• This week, elementary band and orchestra teachers are going to all elementary schools to promote signing up for band and orchestra.
