Bensalem Hosts Shredder Day
Residents can bring old paperwork to the Public Works Department for disposal.

Do you have a bunch of old paperwork that you no longer need?
If so, you’re in luck.
Bensalem Township is hosting a shredder event on Saturday, Nov. 19 at the Public Works Department, 3800 Hulmeville Road (in back of the Bensalem Rescue Squad at Hulmeville and Byberry roads). The event, open to Bensalem residents only, runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Limit of four boxes per household. No commercial businesses permitted.
“Get a fresh start and have no worries concerning identity theft, the largest growing white collar crim in the United States,” a release stated. “For ways to protect yourself against the latest identity theft scams, visit our police department who can provide you with a brochure on the subject matter.”
