Bensalem Man Terrorized Ex-Girlfriend with Car, Police Say

A Bensalem man has been arrested on two felony counts of aggravated assault and related charges after police say he harrassed his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend on Sept. 20.

Police say that Timothy Farlow, 22, followed the victims' car on Bensalem Blvd. after the woman was picked up at work. When the couple turned on to Rockhill Drive, Farlow allegedly drove his white Ford F-150 at a close distance, at one point using the road's shoulder to pull up next to the other vehicle, according to the affidavit.

When the couple turned around and used Bensalem Blvd. to get to westbound Bristol Rd., police say that Farlow hit the rear of the victims' car two to three times, then pulled up and hit the right rear door. The victims pulled into a nearby neighborhood and called police, but Farlow had fled the scene, according to the court documents.

When police arrived, the affidavit says, the victims showed a text message from Farlow that read "your dead" (sic) and a Facebook message to the new boyfriend that read "your a dead man." (sic)

Officers escorted the couple to their apartment, the affidavit says, when the ex-girlfriend pointed out Farlow standing in the driveway of the complex and his car parked in front of the apartment.

According to the criminal complaint, as Farlow walked away from the complex, the offier pulled behind him with overhead lights flashing. Farlow kept walking, so the officer pulled in front of him. Police say Farlow began to run from the police car, but the officer caught up to him on foot and transported him to police headquarters.
