Christ’s Home, a non-denominational Christian ministry serving disadvantaged children and senior adults, hosted over 60 businesspersons representing four local chambers of commerce for a networking event in its multipurpose Community Center on May 19. Attendees had the opportunity to meet each other and expand their networks in a welcoming setting.
The following chambers of commerce participated in this event:

  • Greater Bucks/Mont Chamber of Commerce, led by Judy Doherty, Executive Director
  • Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce, led by William J. Ferrara, Executive Director
  • Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, led by Theresa Fera, President & CEO
  • Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, led by Charles Kueney, President

The event was coordinated by Brenda Greene, Director of Development, Christ’s Home, as a way to bring members of the four chambers together for networking and fellowship. Greene is a board member of the Greater Northeast Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and she and her Christ’s Home colleagues maintain relationships with all of the participating chambers.

Christ’s Home Community Center is a 16,000 square foot facility, located at the center of the Warminster Children’s Campus. It features a full-size gymnasium (with lockers and showers) that can be used for basketball, volleyball, concerts, theater or banquets. The Community Center also features a commercial kitchen, a lobby with a coffee bar, two conference rooms, an executive conference room, a game room with ping pong table, pool table and air hockey table and a children’s play area. It is truly a multipurpose facility that not only serves the children and senior residents at Christ’s Home, but also serves the surrounding community through a variety of programs and facility rentals.
