'Cops And Rodders' Car Show In Bensalem Is May 9

Proceeds from the car show at Parx Casino will benefit the Bensalem Police Activities League​.

BENSALEM, PA — A car show benefiting the Bensalem Police Activities League has been set for May.

The Cops and Rodders Car Show will be at Parx Casino, in Bensalem, on Saturday, May 9.

Sponsored by Parx and the Liberty Region Corvette Club, the show is open to all makes and models of cars and trucks, including foreign, exotics, custom, tuners, Jeeps, street rods and late model cars.

Registration will be from 8 a.m.-noon, with show time running from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., when awards will be presented.

Awards will include a participant-judged top 75, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine, Best of Show, Mayor's Choice, Police Safety Director's Choice and PAL Kids' Choice.

Specialty cars on display will include the Batmobile and the DeLorean from "Back to the Future," as well as Darell Waltrip's NASCAR Chevy Lumina and police department displays. There will be craft, food and car-related vendors.

Entrants may pre-register for $20 through May 2 and register for $25 the day of the show.

Proceeds will benefit the Bensalem Police Activities League.
