Coronavirus Cases Continue To Drop In Bucks Co.
There were 51 new COVID-19 cases over the past two days, but 17 of those are weeks-old cases just now being reported.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Bucks County reported 51 new cases of the coronavirus over the past two days, with 17 of those cases being so old the people being reported are no longer sick.
Not counting those, the county totaled 34 new cases on Tuesday and Wednesday ― an average of 17 per day that continues a downward trend of new COVID-19 cases in Bucks.

Of the 39 new cases reported Wednesday by the Bucks County Department of Health, 17 were "delayed transfer" cases from Philadelphia. Those are cases in which Bucks County residents were confirmed to have the virus in Philadelphia weeks ago.
Five new coronavirus-related deaths also were reported in Bucks County over the two-day period, with two of those coming from more than two weeks ago. All five patients were 65 or older and all lived in long-term care facilities, officials said.

As of Thursday morning, there had been 4,873 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Bucks County and 465 deaths. A total of 1,704 people have been confirmed to have recovered.

The report came on the same day Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf confirmed he would lift his stay-at-home order for Bucks and other neighboring counties at midnight on Thursday. By Friday, all Pennsylvania counties will be in either the partially open yellow phase or the nearly normal green phase of Wolf's plan.
