High School Senior Selected to National Jazz Band Today in Bensalem

- Bensalem High School's Neal Williamson has been selected as the first chair trombone player for the National Jazz Band. Williamson will have the opportunity to travel to Nashville in October and work with the nation's top high school musicians.
- Two men pleaded guilty Monday to setting fire to the historic Croydon Mansion, phillyburbs.com reports. Nicholas Ricciardi and Dennis Rose will be sentenced at a later date. The arson trial for the third man, Michael Kurfuss, is set to begin on August 2.
- Police in Washington, D.C., arrested a woman Monday in connection with the splattering of paint in two locations inside the National Cathedral, a spokesman at the department told CNN. Tian Jiamel, 58, is charged with defacing property.
