'Hold On You Matter' Walk Set For April In Fairless Hills

The walk is to benefit suicide awareness and prevention in Bucks County.

FAIRLESS HILLS, PA — A Bucks County walk to benefit suicide awareness and prevention has been scheduled for next month.

The 2020 Hold On You Matter Spring Walk is scheduled for Sunday, April 26, in Fairless Hills. The walk is sponsored by the Bucks County Suicide Prevention Task Force.

Registration for the walk will begin at 9 a.m. at Bucks County Technical High School, at 610 Wistar Rd. in Fairless Hills, and the walk will begin at 10 a.m.

The three-mile walk is intended to raise awareness, and money, for suicide prevention.

All walkers who raise or donate at least $10 will get a t-shirt for the walk.

You may register for the walk, or donate, at its website. As of Monday morning, it had raised $400 of an $85,000 goal.

Donations also may be mailed to #HoldOnYouMatter, Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission, 55 E. Court St., 4th Floor, Doylestown, PA, 18901. Checks should be made payable to Bucks County Drug & Alcohol Commission, Inc. All donations will benefit the suicide prevention task force.
