Little Mermaid, National Night Out This Week in Bensalem

The Bensalem Parks & Recreation Department's Summer Musical Program stages a production of the Little Mermaid Jr. Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Bensalem High School on Hulmeville Road. Tickets cost $5, and there is no reserved seating.
The Bensalem Police Department invites the public to participate in the National Night Out Tuesday. Between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., residents are asked to lock their doors and spend the evening outdoors with neighbors and police. It's also the perfect time to take in a movie as the TD Bank Amphitheater hosts a free screening of ParaNorman at dusk.
The TD Bank Amphitheater also hosts California Sun, a tribute to the Beach Boys, Wednesday at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $5.
The week starts sunny and cool on Monday, with a high near 79, according to the National Weather Service. The rest of the week looks like another wet one, with showers and thunderstorms forecasted through Friday.
