Police said Batz began a conversation on a social media dating app with what he believed to be a 13-year-old girl on May 3.

During the conversation, Batz expressed interest in a romantic or sexual relationship with the child, offering to pay her $200 to "hang out" and "party for free," and that he wanted to make her his "sugar baby," police said.

He then requested nude photographs and explicit videos, police said, adding that the conversations continued through May and June with Batz asking the girl to meet him on multiple occasions.

Police said Batz encouraged the girl to sneak out when her mother went to bed.

A meeting was arranged on June 24. Police said Batz drove 70 miles to meet the girl, bringing a new iPhone with him that he stated he would give to her so that she could secretly text him nude/explicit photos and videos.

He arrived in Bensalem and asked the girl to meet him in his car in the parking lot so that he could drive her back to his home. She was unable to leave her home at that time, so he returned home, police said.

Later that same day, Batz messaged the girl, stating that he was sad, upset, and feeling bad about himself because she had not met him. He asked her to send him an explicit video because that would make him feel better, police said.

Police said no child was ever in danger during this investigation.

Last Thursday, PA State Police Troopers attempted to serve the arrest warrant at Batz's home.

There was no answer, so they went to his workplace in Whitehall, took him into custody without incident, and turned him over to Bensalem Police.

District Justice Joseph Falcone arraigned Batz and remanded him to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $10 million bail.
