Missing Swimmers Are 2 Bensalem Teens

The two men are 2013 graduates of Bensalem High School. They have been missing since 11 p.m. Tuesday.

The Bensalem Police Department has identified the two teenagers that went missing after jumping into the Neshaminy Creek Tuesday night.

Dan Tadrzynski and Perry Krewson, both 18, and a third teen plunged into the murky, choppy waters near the Neshaminy Falls train station at approximately 10:45 p.m. The third member of the group struggled in the water and managed to get out, but Tadrzynski and Krewson disappeared.

Rescue crews from Bensalem, Trevose, Lower Southampton and other surrounding communities have been searching for the two teenagers since they were reported missing.

Dive teams from Philadelphia, Upper Southampton and Northampton, K-9 units, helicopters and marine teams from the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State police continue to search approximately 15 miles of the creek, between Neshaminy Falls and the Delaware River.

At 11 a.m. Wednesday, Bensalem Safety Director Fred Harran said the rescue efforts has become a recovery operation, with the chances of finding Tadrzynski and Krews alive getting slimmer.

The operation will continue until nightfall, then resume Thursday morning. Police officers ask that anybody near the waterways call 911 if they see anything suspicious.

The two men recently graduated from Bensalem High School. Phillyburbs.com confirmed that Krewson enlisted in the Marines and was scheduled to leave for basic training on Wednesday.
