Morphine Dream, Flea Market This Week in Bensalem

Check out what's happening in Bensalem this week.

  • Don Brown, the author of "The Morphine Dream" will appear at Wood River Village, 3200 Bensalem Blvd., on Tuesday at 7 p.m. to discuss his book, a memoir about how he fulfilled a dream he had while under the influence of painkillers. Admission is free and open to the public.
  • The United Methodist Church of Bensalem, 4300 Hulmeville Rd., is hosting a flea market on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • The Seventh Annual Robert Massaroni 5K is also this Saturday at Robert Shafer Middle School at 7:30 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Just for the Kids Education Foundation.
  • Chance of showers Monday morning, then clear the rest of the week, with temperatures in the mid to high 70s, according to theNational Weather Service.
